LITTLE DREAMERS
For Little Dreamer Decals, I was commissioned to create a series of illustrations that could be adapted as both wall decals and art prints for children’s bedrooms. The brief was to design artwork that would feel soft, welcoming, and whimsical. These products were designed to be accessible and cost-effective for parents with limited time and decorating resources, making regular room makeovers achievable without all the stress.
With the target audience being families looking to create calm, nurturing spaces that could evolve with their children, my focus was on developing illustrations that were gentle, warm, and easily interchangeable.

My design approach balanced traditional and digital methods. Several series were painted in traditional watercolour to create an authentic and natural softness with textured details. Other collections were created digitally in watercolour, allowing for gretaer flexibility while retaining the same style. A calm pastel palette tied the work together, blending the natural tones of the plants and animals with the brand’s light, dreamy colours to create a cohesive visual identity.
The final collections offered a versatile library of artwork that could be easily scaled into prints or removable decals. Parents responded positively to their friendly charm, which became a central part of Little Dreamer’s aesthetic and appeal.
