Illustration

My illustration practice centres on creating expressive, character-driven imagery that invites curiosity and engagement. In each illustration I create, I aim to capture a moment - whether that is a narrative moment within a story, a glimpse of a character’s personality, or an emotion that connects the subject to its surroundings. I enjoy developing images that feel thoughtful and immersive, where small details help bring the scene and its characters to life.

My work has been recognised through the 2019 New England Illustration Prize, and I have had the opportunity to illustrate the children’s book Fil and Harry. Alongside this, I have developed several collections of illustrated artwork designed for children’s bedroom décor, creating cohesive ranges of characters, animals and worlds intended to feel warm, playful and engaging for young audiences. Through these projects I have gained experience translating ideas into finished illustrations that are both visually appealing and stylistically suited to their intended audience and setting.
