Drawing and painting individual works is a central part of my art practice. I work predominately in graphite and soft pastels on paper (though I also use watercolours and oils on occasion), as I am particularly drawn to the immediacy of these mediums. Among my favourite artists are Isaak Levitan, Arthur Streeton, Claude Monet and J. M. W. Turner.
